STATE PATHOLOGIST ARRIVES IN OUGHTERARD

The State pathologist, Dr. Marie Cassidy has arrived in Oughterard to carry out a preliminary examination of the scene of the death of local man, John Kenny.
The body of the teacher and part-time publican was discovered by a family member at Kenny's Bar on Main Street around 6 o' clock last evening.
John Kenny, who was in his 50s, has one daughter and siblings who live in the local area.
