SPECIALIST TEAM COMBS OUGHTERARD MURDER SCENE

A specialist search team will carry out a further examination of the scene of a murder at a pub in Oughterard today.

The body of 56 year old teacher and part-time publican John Kenny was found at Kennys Bar last Sunday evening by his daughter.

Gardaí are continuing a forensic examination of the pub at Main Street in Oughterard today.

A Garda specialist search team will then move in to ensure every detail has been scrutinised.
