Slight increase in Galway’s commercial vacancy rate

Galway Bay fm newsroom – Just over 15 percent of commercial properties across Galway are currently vacant. It's the fourth highest vacancy rate in the country behind Sligo, Leitrim and Limerick. Tuam is one of the worst areas in the county for empty commercial premises – one in 5 properties in the town are vacant. The latest Geoview research reveals that nationally, over 28,700 of the 212 thousand commercial addresses recorded in Ireland in Q2 2017 were vacant.
