SIX MONTHS PRISON SENTENCE FOR GALWAYMAN WHO BRANDISHED KNIFE IN SOLICITOR'S OFFICE

A 57 year-old Galwayman has been sentenced to six months in prison for brandishing a knife in a solicitors office.Martin Noone of Lakeview, Claregalway was found guilty of having a knife in his possession contrary to the Firearms and Offensive weapons act at Burke and Associates Solicitors, Prospect Hill, Galway on September 8 2006.Galway District Court heard he was aggrieved over a will settlement.
