Date Published: 13-Mar-2012

The sister of John 'Frog' Ward, the Galway city traveller shot dead by Mayo farmer Padraig Nally, says it upsetting that after seven and half years the case is in the media again.

Nora Ward, who is living in Sligo, was responding to an RTE documentary aired last night on the case.

Mr Nally was found guilty of manslaughter and sentenced to six years in prison - but 11 months later his conviction was quashed and he was released.

Ms Ward says the family can never forgive what happened.
