SENATOR SAYS CLAREGALWAY BYPASS IS "NON-RUNNER"

The proposed Claregalway by-pass is a 'non-runner' according to local Senator Fidelma Healy-Eames.The Fine Gael senator is making the claim after the Department of Transport would make no definite commitment on the by-pass.Senator Healy-Eames tabled a motion to the Department seeking commitment for funding of 20 million euro and was told the proposed road was only a 'might'.
