SECOND MAN RELEASED AFTER QUESTIONING ABOUT TUAM MANS MURDER

Gardai last night released a second man without charge who was being questioned in connection with the shooting dead of Tuam native Eddie Ward and another man in Dublin last month.40-year-old Brian Downes and 24-year-old Eddie Ward were gunned down on the in Walkinstown, Dublin on the 5th of October.Eddie Ward, a native of Tuam and whose parents live in Athenry and 40 year old Brian Downes were gunned down on the Greenhills road in a gangland attack.Two men were arrested and questioned in Dublin yesterday about the shootings but both were released last night without charge
