SAFETY IMPROVEMENTS AT DANGEROUS CONNEMARA JUNCTION

Safety improvements have been made at a dangerous junction in Connemara, on the main Galway to Clifden road

Road signs have been erected approaching the Carna-Cashel junction in Recess, although it had been hoped a turning lane would be built.

However the county council could not get agreement from all local landowners to donate the necessary land.
