REPAIRS TO WESTDOC CENTRE DELAY REOPENING

It's expected to take another 2-3 weeks before the Liosban call centre for the Westdoc out-of-hours GP service will be ready to re-open it's doors.The call centre has been closed since last Saturday after it was hit by flash flooding during torrential downpours. Extensive repairwork is being carried out after the flooding destroyed offices and equipment. Staff are still operating the call centre out of HSE West offices above Aldi on Seamus Quirke Road in the city. Local GP Christopher Higgins is providing Westdoc with the use of his surgery in Tyrellan Heights also.
