PUBLIC MEETING IN AN CHEATHRU RUA TO DISCUSS FUTURE OF THE GAELTACHT ARTS

Scríbhneoirí, aisteorí, ceoiltoirí and those living in the Gaeltacht with an interest in the arts are invited to a major public meeting next week. The purpose of the meeting is to assess the current state of the arts in the Gaeltacht, which will form the basis of a new arts plan.This meeting, which will be held in An Cheathrú Rua, is one in a series of meetings which will take place in all Gaeltacht regions.Ealaín na Gaeltacht are behind the audit, which takes place in Arás Mháirtín Uí Chadhain, at 8 o' clock on Thursday week, the 8th of October.Independent Arts Consultant, Majella Ní Chríocháin says they are looking for the public's views in this audit.
