The protest began at one o'clock outside the building.
Shortly after 2p.m the proestors began to file into the Chamber where the meeting was due to start.
The Mayor and officials left the Chamber for a time.
Fianna Fáil Deputy Éamon Ó Cuív, who is representing the protestors eventually asked them to disperse, but it's understood they have not left the vicinity of County Buildings.
