PROJECTS LEADING TO ONE HUNDRED GAELTACHT JOBS APPROVED

Several projects which are expected to lead to 110 new jobs, and a total investment of approximately 5 million euro have been approved at a recent Údarás na Gaeltachta Board meeting in Na Forbacha.

In addition, 1.56 million euro was approved for organisations involved in various language planning initiatives and activities.

These include an administration grant of €580,000 for Comhar Naíonraí na Gaeltachta which operates 62 playgroup sessions catering for approximately 850 children.
