PRISON FOR RAPE OF 13 YEAR OLD GIRL IN GALWAY

A man has been jailed for nine years for raping a 13-year-old girl at a communion celebration in Co. Galway.

The judge said Noel Savage - who has a Galway address at Corrib Park, Newcastle - first plied the teenager with alcohol.

Noel Savage raped the 13 year old in an upstairs bedroom after a First Holy Communion party in a house in Co Galway last year.
