PRESIDENTIAL HOPEFULS BRING CAMPAIGN TO GALWAY

Some of the presidential candidates brought their campaign to Galway today after taking part in the election's first televised debate last night on the Late Late Show.

David Norris made his way to Galway this afternoon for a walkabout of the city centre - before moving onto Ballinasloe tomorrow for the town's annual horse fair.

Meanwhile Labour candidate Michael D Higgins officiated at the launch of the Open House Galway Architectural Festival at city museum.
