POST MORTEM UNDERWAY ON CLAREGALWAYMAN STABBED IN CITY ATTACK

The post mortem examination is underway of a young Claregalwayman stabbed to death in the city this morning. 20 year-old Kieran Cunningham, the eldest of three children from Slievefinn, died in hospital shortly after 3am from a number of stab wounds inflicted during an attack on Williamsgate Street an hour earlier.The Deputy State Pathologist Dr Michael Curtis travelled down from Dublin and began the post mortem exam at half two at UHG.
