PLANS FOR NEW DOUGHISKA SCHOOLS OPPOSED

Plans for new permanent schools in Doughiska are being opposed.

BAM Building Limited was granted planning permission consequent on the grant of outline permission for the school developments.

The development includes a new two-storey primary school and 2-3 storey secondary school in Doughiska.

However the residents of Túr Uisce have lodged an appeal against the grant of permission to An Bord Pleanála.
