NUIG SPIN OUT COMPANY DEVELOPS SOFTWARE TO ANALYSE ILLEGAL DRUGS

A spin-out company from NUI Galway has developed software for more accurate analysis of mixtures such as illegal drugs and pharmaceuticals.

Analyze IQ Limited was established in 2008 after a 5 year research collaboration.

The company developed the software with technology licensed from NUIG, and is now marketing and selling it worldwide for manufacturing inspection, law enforcement and emergency services.
