NO PERSONAL INFORMATION IN DOCUMENTS FOUND IN BOG

The documents from Sligo Hospital found dumped in a bog in Abbeyknockmoy don't contain personal information according to the Data Protection Commissioner
The material was discovered in a black bin bag by community wardens yesterday and was sent to the office of the Data Protection Commissioner today
The office of the Data Protection Commissioner told the HSE west this evening that they can find no evidence of a meaningful disclosure of personal identifiable information
They added they now consider the matter closed.
Although the office of the Data Protection Commissioner has closed the matter a spokesperson for the HSE West says it's currently investigating the matter internally.
