NEW UNIT TO ENSURE COUNTY COUNCIL IS SOCIALLY INCLUSIVE

A new unit has been set up to ensure the policies and practices of Galway county council are socially inclusive.The Social Inclusion Unit will liaise with all council departments to help their services reach out to disadvantaged communities. It's being formally launched later today (16/6) by the county manager and Mayor of County Galway Sean Canney The public are being encouraged to attend the ceremony at 12.30 this afternoon at County hall on Prospect Hill
