NEW RESOURCE CENTRE TO BE BUILT IN GALWAY

Work on a new Saint Vincent De Paul resource centre in Galway city is to begin immediately.The centre will provide a range of leisure, educational and health facilities, catering for up to 35 people daily.The focus of the centre will be on-going social support rather than short-term supervision.The centre, which will be located at Millstreet, is being funded from the estate of the late Maureen O'Connell of O’Connell’s pub on Eyre Square.
