NEW NETWORK TO BOOST LOCAL BUSINESS ABROAD

Businesses in the West of Ireland are to benefit from a new network which has been set up by the Western Development Commission.

Re:Connect is an initiative which involves the WDC and 6 local authorities in the West, including Galway.

The idea of the network is to help foster contacts between businesses in the West and people and businesses abroad.

An Taoiseach Enda Kenny launched the network at the Irish embassy in London in the past few days.
