Minor arrested in Tuam in counterfeit tickets investigation

The young male was arrested when Gardaí stopped and searched a car in the Tuam area at 12.30 last Monday afternoon.A number of counterfeit concert tickets were recovered and mobile phones were seized.The juvenile was charged under Section 15 of the Criminal Justice Act 2001 and appeared in court in Tuam last Tuesday.Gardaí are advising the public to be cautious when puchasing tickets with sales for a number of summer events this week and over the coming weeks.
