MINISTER TO ANNOUNCE NEW RESEARCH PROJECT AT NUI GALWAY

A major research project on the early diagnosis of serious diseases is being announced for NUI Galway by Enterprise Minister Michael Martin today.The project will see researchers from NUI Galway team up with a major American medical firm and will run for four years.Minister Martin will make the announcement at NUI Galway at midday and it is understood that the research will focus on the early diagnosis of Sexually Transmitted Diseases, which can cause infertility, as well as hospitals superbugs.
