Two young brothers from Ballyconneely have found a message in a bottle four years after it was dropped into the Arctic Ocean.6 year old Joe and 5 year old Thomas Conroy were out for a walk with their parents and younger brother Jaden when they found the glass bottle at a beach in Ballyconneely.Inside they found a letter from Fisheries and Oceans Canada with details about the drift bottle project.A very simple piece of scientific equipment, a drift bottle is an empty glass bottle with a watertight lid and a note inside it explaining how to make contact with the research project.A grade 9 student called Bonita had prepared the bottle.
