MAN STILL HELD IN OUGHTERARD MURDER CASE

A man is still being questioned by Gardaíin Galway this morning over the murder of publican John Kenny in Oughterard last weekend.

The man in his 30's was arrested in the city on Wednesday evening for allegedly witholding information, and can be held until tomorrow evening.

56-year-old teacher and publican Mr. Kenny, was found dead in his family pub at Main Street in Oughterard last Sunday evening.
