MAJOR SEXUAL VIOLENCE CONFERENCE FOR GALWAY

A major conference on sexual violence, organised by Galway Rape Crisis Centre, will take place in Galway next month. It will explore how levels of sexual violence can be decreased and services for survivors improved.Guest speakers at the event include, Senator Ivana Bacik, Person of the Year, Michael O' Brien and Ailbhe Smyth of UCD Women's Education Research and Resource Centre.The conference, which will take place on Friday November 27th at the Ardilaun Hotel, was launched last evening by Senator Fidelma Healy-Eames.
