MAJOR CASH INJECTION FOR INIS MOR SPORTS FACILITIES

Sports facilities on the Aran Island of Inis Mor are to get a major cash injection of 200 thousand euros

The cash, which will be given to Meitheal Oibre Chill Einne from Environment Minister Phil Hogan will be used to upgrade facilities at the football pitch

The approved funding will be provided under the Basic Services for the Economy and Rural Population aspect of the Rural Development Programme.

Plans for the grant include the construction of male and female changing rooms, a therapy room, referees' area, a kitchen, meeting room, and public toilets.
