Loughrea speeding offence tops Garda worst offenders list

The list has been published by Gardaí ahead of the October bank holiday weekend, as they appeal to motorists to slow down.

According to today's Irish Independent, the man was travelling at almost twice the 120 kilometre speed limit.

Chief Superintendent Michael O'Sullivan of the national traffic bureau said Gardaí will target motorists who believe they can act irresponsibly.
