Lift repairs begin at Athenry Station

Galway Bay fm newsroom - The long awaited repair works for the lifts at Athenry Station are underway.

Due to a major mechanical fault, the lifts have been out of service for a number of months.

Irish Rail says the lifts are expected to be fully operational again by the end of July, to facilitate mobility impaired customers and customers with buggies and luggage.
