LICENCE REVOKED FOR BALLINASLOE RENDERING PLANT

Date Published: 10-Feb-2012

The Environmental Protection Agency has revoked the licence for a well-known rendering plant in Ballinasloe.

The former Premier Proteins factory at Poolboy was taken over last October by College Proteins from Co. Meath.

There is concern locally for the future of 22 jobs at the plant now that the licence has been revoked.
