Less than half of approved local HSE posts filled

Forty-four posts were approved in 2012-2013, and 18 of these have been filled to date.The remaining positions include 15 community mental health nurses, two consultant psychiatrists, four psychologists, two occupational therapists, social and childcare workers and a counsellor.Catherine Cunningham, Area Manager for the Galway Roscommon PCCC, told this week's meeting of the Regional Health Forum West that remaining posts are in various stages of recruitment, and will be filled within the next 3 months.
