LANDSTRIP PLANNED FOR GALWAY CLINIC FOR AIR AMBULANCE

Plans are in the pipeline to build a landing strip at the Galway Clinic in Doughiska, for an air ambulance.The Galway Clinic has applied for permission to build the strip which would aid in the transport of critically ill patients. The aviation authority has no objection to the planned landing strip, and has recommended that the facility be located a minimum of 20 metres from the main building.
