KINDER BUDGET FOR CITY HOUSEHOLDERS AND BUSINESSES

City councillors last night managed to bring in a budget which is significantly kinder to householders and businesses that the one originally proposed.The kinder budget was achieved despite the council getting 7 per cent less government funding, and by councillors and officials agreeing to compromise.
