Keeping the old fires burning

Brigit’s Garden near Moycullen is set to raise the roof, rattle the tree tops and conjure up fairy folk with its second Solstice Fire Festival. Having just about recovered from the exhilarating adventure that was last year’s celebration, organisers say this year is set to be even bigger and better.The family friendly event will be held this Saturday, June 23, with doors opening at 7pm. The evening will kick start with a drumming session, facilitated by Sinéad O’Brien of Living Rhythm Drummers, to conjure up the Celtic spirit for the celebration.
