Information meeting in Oranmore for struggling homeowners
Galway Bay fm newsroom - Almost 7 and a half thousand people across Galway are in mortgage arrears.
That's according to Galway Senator Fidelma Healy Eames who is hosting a public information event for struggling homeowners this week.
It will take the format of a one hour discussion followed by free 10 minute confidential consultations and other personal insolvency practitioners.
The meeting takes place in the Oranmore lodge hotel next Monday February 24th at 7pm.
Nationally, 1 in every 5 homeowners are in arrears and 75% of those in arrears are employed.
Speaking on Galway Talks, Reform Alliance Senator Fidelma Healy Eames says there will be many high profile advisors available to speak with the public.
