HEARING NEXT WEEK IN INIS MEAIN AIRSTRIP DISPUTE

A dispute between Údarás na Gaeltachta and an islander on Inis Meáin over the island's airstrip will be heard next week.Údarás is moving a motion to have its case against Patrick Faherty heard before Galway Circuit Court on September 14th.Mr. Faherty made a claim last December to be the legal owner of three small plots of land on the island's airstrip.However, Údarás is disputing this, claims it's the owner, having bought the land in 1986.
