Go ahead for changes to most historic part of NUIG

NUI Galway has been given the go-ahead to change the access to the Quadrangle building at the Newcastle campus.

The college has been granted planning permission for pedestrian footpath access at University Road.

The plans also include rearranging a low level boundary wall at the same entrance.
