Net profits have nearly halved at Hewlett Packard, the world's largest computer maker, which employs up to 700 people at its Ballybrit plant.
HP's earned almost 1.5 billion dollars in the three months to the end of January, a drop of 44 percent, on the same time last year.
The U.S technology firm saw quarterly sales decline in key areas including personal computers, printers and enterprise equipment.
Earlier this month, HP announced it's to create 140 jobs at its centre of excellence in Ballybrit over the next 3 years.
