GARDAI INVESTIGATE SUDDEN DEATH OF WOMAN IN CITY

Gardai are investigating the sudden death of a young woman in Galway city. Gardai were called to a house in Lios na Ruin in the Ballybane area of the city at 2pm yesterday afternoon where they discovered the woman in her early thirties. She was rushed to UHG by ambulance but later died. The deputy state pathologist has been notified. A post mortem examination is expected to take place on the woman's remains later today.
