Galway's Tiny Dancer Lily-Mae in remission
Galway Bay fm newsroom - The mother of Galway's Tiny Dancer Lily Mae Morrisson says she is overwhelmed after finding out that her daughter is in remission.
Five year old Lily-Mae from Claregalway has been battling Stage 4 Neuroblastoma for the past 16 months.
As there is such a high risk of relapse, Lily Mae will travel to Michigan in the US every 3 months for the next two years to collect drugs and have specialist scans.
The news of Lily-Mae's remission went viral on Twitter last evening, as people all over Ireland tweeted their support.
Lily-Mae's mother, Judith Sibley, told Galway Bay fm news that the support they've received has held their family together.
