GALWAY'S ONLY SENIOR MINISTER BACKS COWEN

Minister and Galway West TD Eamon O'Cuiv is the latest Fianna Fail Minister to back Brian Cowen as the next leader of the party.All of Fianna Fail's senior Ministers, with the exception of Noel Dempsey, have now come out in support of Mr Cowen.Galway's only senior minister Eamon O'Cuiv was en-route from Australia to New York when the Taoiseach made his announcement to stand down.Minister O'Cuiv says he has already been speaking with Brian Cowen, who now seems almost certain to be the next Taoiseach.
