GALWAY WOMEN WITH COMBINED AGE OF 204 CELEBRATE THEIR BIRTHDAYS

Two Galway woman with a combined age of 204 are celebrating their birthday today.Sarah Canavan from Corandulla is 103 years old,and Delia Earley from Rahoon is 101.Sarah Canavan, lives with her son Rob and wife Mary at their home in Bolisheen in Corandulla.The 103 year old loves watching football and hurling, and her favourite Galway players include Barry Cullinane and Padraig Joyce.Delia Earley who lives with daughter Eileen and grandson Robert in Tonabrocky in Rahoon will celebrate her 101 birthday today.Delia worked in jeans manufacturer, Michael Anthony's, on the Seamus Quirke road for over ten years.Michael Anthony's was replaced by the Farah factory which is now the site of ALDI.
