GALWAY TD COMMENDS COMMUNITY ALERT EFFORTS FOLLOWING ATTEMPTED BURGLARY IN TURLOUGHMORE

Galway West TD Noel Grealish has commended the community alert efforts in Turloughmore following an attempted burglary in the area yesterday.
Three men are still being questioned at Mill Street Garda Station this morning following the incident at a home in the Turloughmore area.
One is aged in his late teens while the other two are aged in their early twenties.
Gardai received an alert call just before 1 yesterday afternoon and the three were apprehended near the area later with the assistance of locals who chased the group through farmland.
