GALWAY STUDENTS LOSE HIGH COURT CHALLENGE

Three students, including two from Galway, have lost a High court challenge against the Education Minister, over cuts of around 60 per cent to their support grants.

It was brought by Medb McCarthy, a student at NUI Galway, Robert Johnson, studying at Dundalk IT and Iesha Rowan, a mature student at Galway-Mayo IT.
