Galway Sinn Fein to hold city property tax rally

The rally aims to highlight the party's Property Tax Repeal Bill which is to be discussed and voted on in the Dail this week.

Galway West Senator Trevor O'Clochartaigh says the survival of local authorities now depends on the collection of the tax, which he describes as unfair and depressive.

The demonstration takes place outside County Building on Prospect Hill at midday.
