GALWAY PUBLIC URGED TO ATTEND DRUGS STRATEGY MEETING

The public is urged to attend a meeting in Galway city tonight [1/5] to discuss the New National Drugs Strategy.The public consultation will give people an opportunity to express their views on the problem of drugs and ways of tackling it within the community.Minister of State, with responsiblity for the Drugs Strategy, Pat Carey will attend the meeting and has set up a steering group to develop proposals for the new strategy.The public meeting will take place at 7pm at the Ardilaun Hotel.
