Galway man buys brand new Mercedes-Benz for only 99 cent
The new Mercedes-Benz GLA-Class starts at €55,465 and ranges up to €112,920
A Galway man has walked away with a brand new Mercedes-Benz after purchasing it for only 99 cent.
Glen Fitzpatrick was the latest in a long line of Ooosch Giveaway winners being handed the keys to the motor after entering one of their draws online.
The Ooosch team travelled down to Galway last week to meet Glen who is now the owner of the new Mercedes-Benz GLA-Class, which normally starts at €55,465 and ranges up to €112,920, for less than a euro.
After hearing news of the win, Glen said he nearly didn’t buy a ticket for the draw because his wallet was in his car.
It’s not the first big Galway winner in recent months either.
Another Galway man’s life changed massively in June after buying a giveaway draw ticket for less than €3.
Oliver Murray could not believe his luck when Ooosch Giveaways turned up at his door to announce that he had won their bonanza of prizes.
The biggest collection from the three euro he parted with was a brand new house in Dublin.
That was only the start of it though with a Land Rover and Volkswagen Caddy following as well as €10,000 in cash and a family holiday to the Algarve.
Ooosch’s raffle style draws have helped people fulfill the unrealistic dream of owning their own home with Oliver being their fifth winner of a property to date.
They said: “Congratulations to Oliver Murray from Galway, our latest Ooosch homeowner.
“Last week, Oliver got the phone call of a lifetime and today he was straight over to the house with his family for handover day.
