Ireland weather for the week as Met Eireann update forecast over big change

It’s a weird looking weather week ahead
Met Eireann has forecast a big change for the week ahead for Ireland as a 24C day will be the end of the summer sunshine it seems.
Monday will start off dry for most of the day with sunny spells in the north and east being met by outbreaks of rain in the south and west.
Temperatures of 24C will hit in some Irish areas today, especially in the east, before dropping to 11C overnight.
Monday night will see widespread outbreaks of rain which will clear as the night goes on followed by a mix of scattered showers and mist patches.
Here’s how the start of the weather week is looking according to Met Eireann:
Tomorrow’s weather: “Tuesday will be a brighter day with a mix of sunny spells and scattered showers spreading from the northwest. Feeling fresher with highest temperatures of 14 to 18 degrees in light to moderate northwesterly breezes, fresher on the coast.”
Tuesday Night: “Scattered showers will become mainly confined to the north and west overnight and with isolated showers elsewhere. Lowest temperatures of 9 to 13 degrees in light to moderate westerly breezes.”
Wednesday’s weather: “A mix of well-scattered showers and sunny spells Wednesday morning, remaining dry for many. Cloud will begin to build in the west through the afternoon, bringing patches of drizzle. Highest temperatures of 15 to 17 degrees in a light to moderate westerly breeze.”
Wednesday night: “Cloudy with outbreaks of rain and drizzle moving eastwards across the country before clearing to scattered showers. Lowest temperatures of 9 to 12 degrees in moderate southwesterly winds.”
Thursday’s weather: “Sunny spells and scattered showers, becoming blustery at time with moderate to fresh and gusty westerly winds. Possibly cloudier with more persistent rain at times, particularly in the north. Highest temperatures of 14 to 17 degrees.”
