GALWAY INQUEST INTO CRASH RETURNS VERDICT

The jury at the inquest in Galway into the death of two Air Corps pilots two years ago have returned an open verdict on 32 year old Captain Derek Furness from Rathfarnham in Dublin.
It also found that the death of 22 year old Cadet David Jevens from Wexford was accidental.
The two men died when the training flight crashed near Cornmona on the Galway Mayo boarder in October 2009.
