Woman looking for Galway 'hero' after 'small act of kindness' helped her in 'difficult' situation

Scottish tourist Jodie landed in Headford this week and was having great difficulty securing her accommodation in Galway city and was unsure where to go.

This is where the kindness and willingness of Jack came into play who helped Jodie with her travel plans out of the goodness of his heart.

She said she wants to track down Jack and give him a proper thank you after his noble efforts assisting her.

Jodie said: “I was travelling to Galway ahead of coming to Headford parish today. I was having great difficulty finding my accommodation in Galway City and was unsure of where to go.”

“Thankfully, I met a young man called Jack, who went above and beyond to help me find my accommodation.

“His kindness and willingness to help made a real difference to me, and I would now like to say a very heartfelt thank you to him.

“Jack, if this message happens to reach you, please get in touch with Sharon in the Headford Parish Office, so she can pass your details on to me.

“Sometimes a small act of kindness from a stranger can mean so much. Please share this so we can hopefully find Jack and make sure I get the chance to thank him personally. Thank you, Jack.”
